Our Client:
I am currently working with a company who are a leading service provider in the UK recruit for an experienced finance professional to join their team!
Some of the day-to-day duties:
You will be responsible for training and mentoring a team of around 7 people and supporting them with managing their workload as well as ensuring that they are meeting the deadlines that have been set.

Supervise and manage the team, ensuring all activities are completed in an efficient and timely manner.

Supervisory duties in respect of direct reports to include performance appraisals, training of all new hires on processing standards and procedures, allocating and reviewing work assignments

Responsible month end closing procedures

Refine and enforce the PO process

BACS runs
-
Oversee the posting of payments and receipts and reconciling the bank accounts

Reconciliation of supplier statements to ensure all invoices are captured

Process improvements
Desired but not essential:

You will have previous experience within a similar role
-
Have previous experience in people management
-
Intermediate excel skill including pivot tables and V-look ups

Knowledge of SAP
-
Excellent communication skills

Strong attention to detail
