Financial Accountant - Newbury, Hybrid - £45,000 - £55,000

The Financial Accountant will mainly be responsible for supporting the Senior Financial Accountant at the organisation to produce their Month End, Year End, and Statutory Accounts, and continuously ensure a strong environment of Financial Control.
This role requires a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail, as they are vital for delivering exceptional results.
The Successful Finance Manager will:
- Provide an efficient and effective accounting service¸ including high quality financial advice & guidance
- Assist with all aspects of development and effective operation of financial systems and procedures
- Ensure that colleagues are kept informed of the financial performance of the organisation through regular preparation, analysis and reporting of monthly accounts
- Develop, lead, and manage the submission of VAT Returns
- Assist with the preparation of Corporate Tax Returns
- Maintain a highly visible and professional profile within the organisation
- Be an important part of producing the year end accounts and heavily involved in the audit process
To be successful
- You will be a qualified / finalist (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Accountant with several years' working experience
- You will possess excellent accounting systems and excel knowledge
- You will have the ability to build, maintain and develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- The key to success here is to be enthusiastic, detailed, and passionate about numbers and process improvement
